In this class, Calla Henry will conduct research project:
The project is intended as the data-analysis part of Geophysical Field Camp course GEOL485.6. In addition to conventional analysis of a seismic refraction profile, the project is focused on developing original approaches. In particular, the little-known concept of “Time Fields” is examined and developed.
Time permitting, the time-field concept is also extended to “resistance fields”, which are used to analyze 3-D electrical resistivity data acquired by DIAS Geophysical during our 2025 Geophysical field school
In the course of this project, the topics may be modified, and additional literature will be identified.
